This beautiful parasite wood carving was picked and carved by Indonesian artisans. Each carving is especially hand carved by the artisans therefore, no two sculptures are exactly alike and may vary slightly in size and placement, this is a reflection of the hand crafted nature of this product.

Parasite woods come from a parasitic plant, a mushroom-like growth that imbeds itself into the bark of a chinaberry tree and gets its nourishment from the tree's slap.
The growths are then cut and carved into beautiful creatures by the talented Bali artisans. Each piece of parasite wood is totally unique which is what really makes thee carvings stand out.
